It has been 4 decades since Bruce Lee developed the concepts that govern Jeet Kune Do. Yet they continue to be as radical to martial artists today as they were when Bruce Lee first introduced them to the world. By creating the world's first and only martial art whose philosophical foundation is predicated on evolution, economy of motion and scientific evaluation Bruce gave us the single greatest innovation the martial arts world has ever known.
Because Jeet Kune Do is constantly evolving it incorporates only the best "functional" attributes from each of the martial arts. However, in keeping with Jeet Kune Do's philosophy, it all requires its practitioners to constantly evaluate and reevaluate these attributes. The result of all of this scrutiny is a martial art that is streamlined with efficiency, practicality, and is adaptable to any situation. Jeet Kune Do is a way of flowing from one martial art to another, it is heavily influenced by Kung Fu, the Filipino Martial Arts, Tai Chi, Fencing, Thai Boxing, Jujitsu, Aikido, Judo, Savate, Boxing and other Western Concepts.
Designed for individuals that want to learn as fast as possible and/or become instructors in Jeet Kune Do. The class can be taught in a weekend or spread over a few weekends. It is 10 hours of private instruction. People learn approximately 6 times faster in private sessions than in group classes. There are Programs, Student Levels and Instructorship Programs.
