Eric Wnek has been in the Martial Arts for over 30 years. He began his official training in Jeet Kune Do at the age of 16 under Rick Manente (East Coast PFS Director under Paul Vunak). In 2002 Eric received his Full Instructorship Certificate in Jeet Kune Do Concepts and the Filipino Martial Arts under the late Rick Manente. Eric also received his Full Instructorship
in Jeet Kune Do Concepts and the Filipino Martial Arts under Paul Vunak in 2008. After 2008 Eric has studied under the guidance and tutelage of Tim Tackett of the Wednesday Night Group in "Old School JKD."
Elite Jeet Kune Do is an organization dedicated to teaching realistic self defense and promoting the expansion of Jeet Kune Do and Kali/The Filipino Martial Arts.
Elite Jeet Kune Do was founded over 12 years ago by renowned martial arts instructor Eric Wnek. Eric was trained by Rick Manente (attained Full Instructor certification in 2002), Paul Vunak (attained Full Instructor certification in 2008 and was a Certified Executive Instructor).
Eric currently trains with the Wednesday Night Group under Tim Tackett in what Tim refers to as "Old School JKD."
Elite Jeet Kune Do's goal is to provide students a means to develop and grow physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. By pursuing these ambitions, Eric hopes to ensure that Bruce Lee's contributions to the martial arts and to humanity will never be forgotten.
